How to fix oily hair- Natural home remedies
There are several ways to deal with oily hair, including as washing your hair every day, rinsing it off multiple times, using an air conditioner, or using more targeted treatments to get rid of extra bait in your body's hair.
In search of a natural shampoo that will effectively cleanse and remove oil from the scalp and hair roots for those with oily hair. These natural ingredient-based remedies may be made at home. Although soap is the most natural option, there are other options as well. One option is to use a shampoo that has a high sodium lauryl sulfate content and a minimal amount of any kind of conditioner, such as lanolin.
Greasy Scalp Causes, Treatment, and Prevention:
An anti-dandruff shampoo containing coal tar might work wonders if your hair is oily and prone to dandruff. These shampoos' formulations have a tendency to dry out hair more oily.
1. Give your hair two washes daily:
It should go without saying that you should wash your hair at least once a day—and even twice a day in warm, humid climates. Above all, you should use shampoo twice a day: first, create a lather and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes to allow the fat to be removed; next, properly rinse your hair and repeat the process. Use of conditioner is not advised. Restoring the fat that you have meticulously cleaned is all that is required.
2. Modify the cycle of rinsing:
While using a strong infusion of rosemary will yield greater effects, rinsing hair with water is OK. Essential oils included in this plant aid in reducing the excessive accumulation of fat on the scalp.
3. Use a rosemary infusion to rinse:
To rinse, boil a cup of water with two teaspoons of dried rosemary. After 20 minutes of infusion, filter, chill, and then transfer into an empty plastic container. After washing your greasy hair with water to remove the shampoo, use this rinse. Rinsing is not required since this allows you to still smell the lovely scent of rosemary.
4. Rinse with lemon juice:
Combine the juice of two lemons with two cups of purified water, then transfer the mixture into a shampoo bottle. Dry your hair after washing and rinsing it, then apply the mixture to your scalp. Give it five minutes so the fat can be affected by the acid in the lemon juice. Next, give your hair a cold water rinse.
5. Vinegar:
The acidic vinegar might help eliminate fat from your hair. Use a cup of vinegar and water to make a last hair rinse. Once the vinegar is applied to the hair, its fragrance will soon disappear.
6. Use of mouthwash in more severe cases:
If your hair is really oily, you can make a solution that will lessen the amount of sebum produced on the scalp. Combine equal amounts of witch hazel and any brand of mouthwash in a small cup. Because both components are astringent, they aid in sealing the skin's pores to cause it to dry out. After the last rinse, soak a ball of cotton in the solution and apply it on the scalp (not the hair).
